2. Introduction:

1140r. - Foundation of Cerekwica. The city had rights to expand itself, but it gave them to Trzebnica some time later.

1440r. - The church was built

1864r. - The palace was built .

1900r. - Balleftrems bought agricultural property and the palace. They helped to build

vicarage, school and the church tower. They paid about 30% of the entire amount.

1929r. - On 27-th of July John Baptist died. He was from the house of Balleftren, and he was the owner of such huge properties as: Cerekwica, Sędzice, Pstrzejowice.

♥ Patron of the Catholic parish,

♥ He had the Iron Cross; 

1945r. - The Germans left Cerekwica, and the Russians invaded it. They set the palace on fire. It was burning for 19 hours, from 4 p.m. to 11a.m.. * In this year the cinema was built in the church.*
