The Roman Catholic Church of St. Lawrence parish.





     The Roman Catholic Church  of St. Lawrence parish, belonging to the Trzebnica deanery from the fifteenth century. The last reconstruction of the present brick facility took place at the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The fact of Franz-Georg birth in 1901, his mother Countess Ema funded a beautiful marble baptismal fonts with appropriate initials for the St. Lawrence church in Cerekwica. It was made in Munich.



     The mausoleum in the form of a chapel at the church cemetery is a second memorial.



 

      In 1910 a bell tower with three bells was built, one of them was cast after World War I to honor the inhabitants of the Cerekwica parish who died in this war. During World War II, two bells were removed and melted for the war purposes. Thorough repair of foundations, external walls and tower of the church was carried out in the spring and summer of 2002. An oil painting depicting St. Lawrence located on the main altar survived the war.



     Stations of the Way of the Cross, stained-glass windows of the apostles Peter and Paul, the Annunciation of Virgin Mary, Holy Family and Sacred Jesus Heart were made ​​in Wroclaw in the years 1895-1903. In 2006, the church interior was renovated. In 2010 the renovation of the church exterior was made.
